Terms of Service — VybeCheck

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of VybeCheck (the “Service”). By using VybeCheck, you agree to these Terms.

1) Who can use VybeCheck

You must follow applicable laws and these Terms. VybeCheck is not intended for children under 18.

2) Your account

VybeCheck may create an account tied to your device or an anonymous identifier. You’re responsible for your activity and for keeping access to your device secure.

3) Content you post

You keep ownership of the content you create, but you grant VybeCheck a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting/display), and display your content as needed to operate the Service.

You are responsible for your content. Don’t post anything that:

• Violates the Community Guidelines
  
  

• Is illegal, threatening, harassing, hateful, or abusive
  
  

• Includes someone’s private info (doxxing)
  
  

• Infringes intellectual property rights
  
  

• Includes sexual content involving minors (instant removal + report)
  
  

4) Safety and enforcement

We may remove content, restrict features, or disable accounts if we believe:

• You violated these Terms or the Community Guidelines
  
  

• Your activity is harmful, unsafe, fraudulent, or abusive
  
  

• We need to do so to comply with law or protect users
  
  

5) Reporting

You can report content in-app. We review reports and may take action, but we don’t guarantee we will remove every piece of reported content.

6) Location-based features

Some features require location access. You control this through iOS Settings. If you disable location, certain features may not function.

7) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the Service
  
  

• Scrape data, automate access, or abuse rate limits
  
  

• Create fake engagement, spam posts, or impersonate others
  
  

• Bypass access controls (including venue owner tools/access codes)
  
  

8) Third-party services

The Service may rely on third-party services (hosting, analytics, maps). Their terms may apply to your use of those features.

9) Disclaimer

VybeCheck is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always accurate (for example, crowd levels and vibes are user-generated).

10) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VybeCheck will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.

11) Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms. If we make material changes, we’ll update the effective date and post the new Terms here.
