Q: How does VybeCheck know the “vybe”?

A: It’s powered by real people sharing quick updates (tag + emoji + crowd score + short comment) at the places they’re actually at.

Q: Do I need an account to use the app?

A: You can browse, but to post and interact you’ll create a simple profile (username + display name). No email required for the beta.

A: Only if you allow it. Location helps show nearby spots and enables location-based posting. You can change location permissions anytime in iOS Settings.

Q: What can I share in a post?

A: A quick vibe update: a mood tag, an emoji, a crowd score, and an optional short comment.

Q: Is VybeCheck available everywhere?

A: Not yet. The beta is starting small and expanding city by city as we add venues and improve the experience.

Q: How do venue owners get access?

A: Owners need an access code. If your venue isn’t listed (or you need a code), use the “My venue isn’t listed” option in the app to request access.

Q: Is this app only for college towns / nightlife?

A: It’s built for nights out, but it works for any local spot where the “vibe” matters, whether that bars, music venues, breweries, restaurants and more.
